Language is a beautiful shared concept. By organizing letters into sequences we create words. And by organizing words into sequences we create sentences. And by organizing sentences into chunks of related text we can create a certain understanding. In fact, we transfer knowledge this way. Suppose for example you read this very text, then at this very instant, neurons in your brain are making new connections. You consume the text, add your own (semiotic) meaning to it, and perhaps it might even change some of your viewpoints or put you into some kind of action. And if my text has changed your viewpoints, than together we must be co-creating our little bit of a new world. So words can create Worlds. Isn’t that beautiful? Picture source here.
